Animals in Bobryszka

Swans

Every year swans appear in Bobryszka. They hide their youngs in coastal reeds. Typically, you can see only a single pair of adults and few youngs. Because of various predators, every year some number of youngs die before they reach adultnes. Swans are very interesting creatures: they are monogamous for entire life. Males so as females take part in "educating" youngs.
You can also see swans in Zgorzaly Most, which is located about 3 km from Bobryszka, on the same river. What is interesting is that those swans are more friendly to people. Bobryszka swans, since are not fed by humans, are more wild and less confident when comes to contact with people.

Beavers

Beavers are very skittish animals, which are very difficult to capture by the camera. In addition, they are mostly active during the night, which also makes it difficult to photograph. It is much easier to observe traces of their existence: dams and strucked trees. Those are a common sight in Bobryszce.
